Membership offers the unique opportunity to learn and share information within a community of like-minded professionals, trades people and suppliers. One of the objectives of the association is to keep all who are involved in the building industry informed of changes that may affect this industry and housing affordability.
The Association keeps tabs on local affairs and regulation that affects our industry, and we connect people at our member companies to strengthen business opportunities. Our passionate members participate in various committees and community meetings. Within the HBIA, our members are encouraged to participate in association events and committees that bolster the building industry.
HBIA members are committed to the community of Helena in which we live, work and raise our children. The association presents the annual Builders’ Home Show and Parade of Homes each year.
Because we are located in the capital city, HBIA maintains a Legislative Committee on behalf of the Montana Building Industry Association. We track the ever-changing laws and regulations that affect the building industry, and our members make it their business to pay close attention to anything that affects the health of the building environment in the area.
